Thanks for helping us have another great year at AWANA. We will begin another year in the fall, but join us this summer each Sunday and Wednesday at 6:30 for "Children's Carnival" our summer bible study.

New Age groups: 3 and 4 year olds = Cubbies, K-2 grade = Sparks, 3-4 grade = TNT

Kidz 4 Him is our weekly children's worship time during the 10:30 am service on Sunday mornings. We invite families to experience worship together for the first portion of the service and then we dismiss all K-4th grade students to their own special and exciting worship time in the FAC. Weet meet every week unless notified in the church bulletin. Parents are always welcome to come and participate so that you can see what your children are doing.

Our Children's "Out of School" Event will be Saturday May 15th at 5:00. We will eat pizza at the church before leaving for Ellen's Fairway in Cedar Hill where we will play video games, ride go-carts, play putt-putt golf, and more.  This is for all K-4th grade students. A notoarized medical rrelease form is required for each child.

 

Pre-teen camp date for 2010 will be June 21-25.  It is held at Mt. Lebanon in Cedar Hill Texas. we encourage all our pre-teens to attend and bring their friends. Camp is full of fun activities, worship, dynamic Bible studies, and much more. This year we are glad to have Uncle Charlie and Keith Coast back with us. Each year camp is called "Camp GAP" and is for all those who have completed 3rd-6th grade. The fundraiser is Sunday night April 25th at 6:00. This will be a spaghetti dinner and auction. Students must participate in order to receive funds from the fundraiser.  Check out www.mtlebanoncamp.com for more information about the camp and our week's program. You can also get registration forms from that site or at the church. All forms and money are due Sunday June 6th at the mandatory parent meeting which will be at 5:30. The total cost for camp is$170. Dates for Vacation Bible School in 2010 are July 26-30. Vacation Bible School will be Monday thru Friday from 6:30 to 9:00 PM. There will be arts and crafts, music, games, bible stories, snacks, and much more. This year's theme is SonQuest-Rain Forest. The topics this year are: Get it; Get Found; Get God's Love; Get Praying; and Get Going. Click on the link below for a full description of each day.

Dates for 2010 are July 12th-15th.

This is for children who have completed K-2nd grade.

Cost: $40.00

Day Camp is a wonderful time of bible study, worship, missions, and fun activities for our children. We provide a great atmosphere in which our younger children can learn about Christ and mature in their faith while having a blast. Camp is done at the church and students are picked up each afternoon. This is perfect for parents who are looking for something  for their younger children to do that is Christ centered.

Kids Klub-This is for all kids K-6th grade. Pre-school age children can attend if accompanied by an adult. Kids Klub is a weekly fellowship time for children with a desire to build deeper friendships with one another through Christ. Bring a sack lunch on the days marked with *

 Thanks for helping and participating in this year's Carnival and Trunk or Treat. We had over 200 children plus their families, all the youth that worked and all those who opened up their trunks.
