Ellis Hope 2010

As we begin a new year, a new decade, God has gifted us with the opportunity to be a part of a great movement of prayer, discipleship and spiritual harvest. We at Eastridge have accepted the challenge along with 15 other churches in Ellis Baptist Association, to

contact over 24,000 homes in our county during the month of February as a part of “Harvest Unlimited Outreach Ministry.” The overall goal is to share Christ with our county in a powerful way by Easter, 2010. Materials have been prepared, the plan is in place, all that is lacking is the personal participation to make this happen. Our goal is to reach 100 families for Christ, to offer a prayer network for many hurting in our community and say to Red Oak – “we care about you in the name of Jesus Christ.”

Presently, we are forming our leadership team (remember that email about making “a gift of ourselves to Jesus”) and need more of you to step out and commit. There will be a leadership training meeting on January 10, and a training meeting for our “ phone volunteers” on January 31. Many other opportunities are available as well. This ministry project will require a volunteer work force of 60 people dedicated to the task of evangelism. Are you up to the task? There will be a sign up sheet on Sunday for you to express your willingness to be on the administration team, caller team or prayer team.
